- For more information, call Customer Service at the number listed on your member ID card.
Involuntary Disenrollment
There are times when the plan must disenroll a member:
- The member no longer qualifies for Medicare.
- The individual dies.
- The member fails to pay any premiums or late enrollment penalties.
- The member enrolls in a different Medicare Advantage plan or another Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan.
- The Blue Cross Medicare Supplement contract has ended, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas stops offering Blue Medicare Supplement Insurance plans in any portion of the area where it had previously been available.
- The member intentionally misrepresents information to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas about reimbursement for third-party coverage.
