Get Involved and Make a Difference
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas has a Member Advisory Group (MAG) open to STAR, CHIP and STAR Kids members and their families, providers, and community partners.
Going to a MAG meeting is a chance for both members and their caregivers to share input and learn about new benefits. At a board meeting you can:
- Ask questions and share your concerns and ideas with us. This can help us figure out ways to improve your health plan.
- Learn about programs and services, as well as community resources.
- Members who receive LTSS and their parents or legally authorized representative can learn about programs and services to help them maintain independence and quality of life.
- Network with others who care about improving health care.
- Help to create solutions to everyday health care problems.
- Connect with a BCBSTX member advocate.
Our advisory groups meet in person or online. There is no cost to participate.
MAG meetings are held each quarter, and it’s easy to register. Check the to learn about upcoming MAG meetings. We look forward to getting your great ideas at the next meeting!
Participating members can get a $25 gift card for attending.*
