Prescription Drugs

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation
You can get no-cost rides to and from your doctor’s office or a medical facility. The rides are for non-emergencies only.

Member Information
Use Your Online Account
Our Blue Access for Members℠ portal and mobile app let you manage your plan from home or on the go. Check your plan info, find providers, select or change your PCP and much more.
Request a New Member ID Card
Has your ID card been lost or stolen? Be sure to contact BCBSTX right away at 1-888-657-6061 (TTY: 711). You can also log in to your Blue Access for Members account to order a replacement member ID card or access your digital ID.
Member Rights and Responsibilities
BCBSTX wants to make sure you understand your rights and responsibilities as a plan member.
Complaints and Appeals
If you don’t agree with a decision BCBSTX makes about your benefits or services, you can file an appeal. It’s a way to ask for someone to review our actions. You might file an appeal if BCBSTX decides to deny, delay, limit or stop a service.
You can file a complaint about any matter besides a service that has been denied, reduced or ended. For example, you might file a complaint if you are unhappy with service you have received from BCBSTX or from your provider.

- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, Monday–Friday
- Speak with someone in English or Spanish.
- After hours and on weekends, call Texas Relay at 1-800-735-2989.
- You may leave a voicemail outside of our normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.
Behavioral Health Services
The type of mental health service needed depends on the situation. A service coordinator can help members find out what services are covered.
- Call toll-free 1-888-657-6061 (TTY: 711).
- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- BCBSTX offers emergency and crisis support. If you or your child have a mental health emergency, you may call at any time of day or night, and on any day of the week.
- Mental Health/Substance Use services do not need approval from your PCP when you are not in the hospital, but you do have to go to an in-network provider.

Emergency Care
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
