The 2026 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period ends on Sunday, Dec. 7. All applications must be submitted by midnight local time to ensure Medicare coverage changes go into effect on Jan. 1, 2026.
Important: When completing applications, always include your nine-digit writing agent ID (not the agency ID). This small but crucial step ensures you are properly credited for your work.

- Online quoting and enrollment tools: Use Blue Access for Producers℠ and/or Retail Producer Portal to generate quotes, complete enrollments and manage your book of business.
- Producer Supply Portal: Download Medicare Supplement and MAPD enrollment kits (‘Digikits’) containing applications, formularies, pharmacy directories, star ratings, summaries of benefits, plan options guides, plan comparison charts and other required forms.
- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Medicare website is a hub where you can:
- Search by prescription drug to see which Medicare plans offer coverage.
- Check if a beneficiary’s doctors, specialists, hospitals and other health care providers are in-network with a specific Medicare plan.
- Find important documents for any Medicare plan, including the summary of benefits, annual notice of change, star ratings, evidence of coverage, automatic payment forms and more.
- Use the to complete your annual certification and access the Medicare Producer Amendment. All producers and agencies must certify by Dec. 20 to receive renewal commissions. Failing to certify by December 20th will forfeit any commissions you would receive on renewal business for 2026.
