Marketplace Contacting Members for Account Verification

The Health Insurance Marketplace has recently contacted some members who have on-exchange plans and receive advance premium tax credits. These members may be asked to verify their account information, which could include confirming details or submitting documentation to maintain their eligibility.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas also sent an email to these members, encouraging them to respond promptly to any Marketplace requests. You may hear from clients who received our email and have questions.

This is a great opportunity to check in with clients who receive advance premium tax credits, ensure their account information is correct, and offer support if they need help completing the verification process.
