A new Special Enrollment Period (SEP) will be available February 15 - May 15, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This means you can apply for a 2021 Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) Individual health plan for yourself and your family during this time.
Things to Know
- More information about this new SEP will be available starting February 15, 2021.
- You won't need to provide proof of a qualifying life event if you buy a BCBSIL health plan through this new SEP.
- Your BCBSIL plan's effective date will be the first of the month following the month you select your plan.
