We want you to get the most from your new plan. In this section, you’ll find resources to help you get started, maximize your benefits, use online tools, learn about claims and more.

Call us before calling Medicare. Because Blue Cross Medicare Advantage is your Medicare plan, you should call us with all your questions. Our customer service team will let you know if your question can be answered by Medicare. Call the customer service number listed on the back of your member ID card.

You have access to wellness programs, and tools and resources to help you manage your health. These include:

Dental

Coverage for preventive and comprehensive dental care is available through some Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plans.

Your Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plan may include coverage for routine eye exams and provide an allowance toward frames and lenses or contact lenses.

Hearing

Through our partnership with TruHearing®, some Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plans may provide coverage for routine hearing exams as well as discounts on hearing aids.

Over-the-Counter

Your Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plan may provide coverage for over‑the‑counter (OTC) drugs and other health‑related pharmacy products. Members may select these item(s) from a catalog and have them shipped directly to them.

Blue365®

Blue365 offers premier health and wellness discounts to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas members and it is free to join.

You can find savings like:

  • Discounts on exercise clothes and shoes
  • Discounted gym memberships and fitness aids like Fitbits
  • Savings on eye exams, glasses, contacts, hearing aids, and more.

SilverSneakers® Fitness Program

Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plans include the SilverSneakers Fitness Program to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. Members have access to thousands of participating locations across the country. Some locations even offer group exercise classes led by trained instructors at select locations.

24/7 Nurseline

Blue Cross Medicare Advantage members have access to a registered nurse who’s available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to to answer any health questions.

24/7 Nurseline is not available to HMO members. For medical emergencies, call 911. This program is not a substitute for a doctor’s care. Talk to your doctor about any health questions or concerns.

Transportation

Your Medicare Advantage Plan may include routine transportation to and from your medical appointments through our partner, Logisticare Solutions. Be sure to check your Summary of Benefits to verify if the transportation benefit is included in your plan.

Rewards & Incentives

The Rewards and Incentives Program gives Blue Cross Medicare Advantage members a healthy and easy way to earn up to $100 in gift cards from national and local retailers. You receive a gift card of your choice for completing Healthy Actions throughout the year.
