Last Chance: RxDC Fully Insured Data Collection Closes May 4

We previously communicated details about the average monthly premium data collection for Fully Insured groups to be included in our Prescription Drug Data Collection (RxDC) reporting for the 2025 reference year.

The deadline to submit data to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas for inclusion in our RxDC submission is Monday, May 4. Since the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requires this data, any employer groups not included in our submission will need to submit their own average monthly premium data directly to CMS by June 1, 2026.

Groups that have not submitted their data are receiving final reminder emails this week. Additional email alerts were sent in March and earlier in April. Group contacts do not need the notification or reminder email to submit the necessary data.

Group contacts can also check their submission status, and submit the necessary data, by logging into Blue Access for Employers^℠ and clicking the Regulatory Data Collection link. The employer portal submission form includes the current CMS calculation method to help groups more easily calculate and submit accurate data.

Average monthly premium data can be submitted by either the employer group or a broker (Primary Producer of Record or Delegated Producer with Maintenance Use).

Groups should consult their own legal or regulatory counsel for any additional information on this requirement should they elect not to provide data or fail to provide complete and accurate data in time for our RxDC submission.
