Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas is negotiating new contracts with Austin Area OBGYN.
If BCBSTX and Austin Area OBGYN don’t sign new contracts before Feb. 4, 2026, Austin Area OBGYN providers won’t be in network for health plans at BCBSTX, including your TRS-ActiveCare plan.
We’re working closely with Austin Area OBGYN and hope to sign new contracts before that date.

Even if Austin Area OBGYN leaves our networks, you’ll continue to have access to our network of doctors, health care professionals, hospitals and facilities.
