As you may know, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas has been negotiating new contracts with Shannon Medical Center. We’re pleased to say Shannon has rescinded its termination notice and will stay in BCBSTX networks.
We’re working to finalize the details of our agreement, and there will be no interruption of in-network care.
Shannon hospitals will stay in network for health plans at BCBSTX, including TRS-ActiveCare.

In the case of a life-threatening illness or injury, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away. Emergency services are always covered at the in-network benefit level.
