As you may know, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas has been negotiating new contracts with Memorial Hermann.
We’re pleased to say we’ve come to an agreement that protects participants access to quality care at fair prices. Memorial Hermann providers and facilities will stay in network for TRS-ActiveCare participants with no disruption.
Participants continue to have access to our network of doctors, health care professionals, hospitals and facilities. They can check for options based on their plan by logging in to their member account online or through the BCBSTX App. They can also call a Personal Health Guide at 1-866-355-5999.
Memorial Hermann doctors, hospitals and other facilities will remain in network for all TRS-ActiveCare plans:

In the case of a life-threatening illness or injury, participants should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency facility right away. Emergency services for commercial networks are covered at the in-network benefit level.
