Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas worked closely with Amarillo Medical Specialists to negotiate new contracts. However, we were unable to reach an agreement. The current contracts expired on May 1, 2026.
Participants are our priority. They'll continue to have access to our network of doctors, health care professionals, hospitals and facilities. They can check for options based on their plan by logging in to their member account online or through the BCBSTX App. They can also call a Personal Health Guide at 1-866-355-5999, available 24/7.
