Negotiation with Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas

As you may know, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas has been negotiating new contracts with Unified Women’s Healthcare of Texas.

We’re pleased to say we’ve come to an agreement that protects participants access to quality care at fair prices. UWH of Texas providers will stay in network for TRS-ActiveCare with no disruption.

Participants can always use Provider Finder® to find in-network health care providers and facilities. They can also call a Personal Health Guide, at 1‑866‑355‑5999 for help finding a provider or for questions about their health plan.

Why It Matters

UWH of Texas providers will remain in TRS-ActiveCare networks.

  • TRS-ActiveCare Primary
  • TRS-ActiveCare Primary+
  • TRS-ActiveCare HD
  • TRS-ActiveCare 2

Why Negotiate

As a customer-owned health insurance industry leader in Texas for 95 years, we advocate on your behalf for high-quality, cost-effective health care. Our goal is to protect your access to quality care at affordable rates. It's a responsibility we take seriously.
