Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) network physicians are required to refer our members, your patients, to participating, in-network providers. As a reminder, per the BCBSTX Provider Manuals section B-d Provider Roles and Responsibilities-Lab and Radiology, contracted providers must use and refer to BCBSTX-contracted laboratories.
BCBSTX has established relationships with contracted lab vendors depending on the member's health plan.
