Reimbursement changes and updates for the commercial HMO and PPO practitioners will be posted under Standards and Requirements / General Reimbursement Information / Reimbursement Schedules and Related Information / Professional Schedules section on the BCBSTX provider website at bcbstx.com/provider.
The changes resulting in a decrease will not become effective until at least 90 days from the posting date. The specific effective date will be noted for each change that is posted. To view this information, visit the General Reimbursement Information section on the BCBSTX provider website. The Drug CPT/HCPCS Fee Schedule will be updated quarterly on March 1, June 1, Sept. 1 and Dec. 1 each year. The NDC Fee Schedule will be updated monthly.
