BCBSTX and AIM invite you to take advantage of free AIM ProviderPortal training webinars covering:
- Creating and submitting prior authorization requests, updating an existing one and retrieving your order summary for select outpatient procedures that may require prior authorization through AIM
- Checking the status of your requests
- Getting tips and shortcuts to navigate the system

BCBSTX presents "BCBSTX Back to Basics: Availity 101", a complimentary webinar covering the self-service electronic tools and features that can be accessed through the Availity provider portal.
In this one-hour training session, BCBSTX will present an overview of electronic options that can help make doing business with BCBSTX faster and easier. Participants will learn how to:
- Check real-time patient eligibility and benefits for BCBSTX members with the Availity Eligibility and Benefits tool
- How to verify if a service requires benefit preauthorization by procedure code
- Verify claim status information using the Claim Status tool
