TRS Participants Have Updated Plans

Effective Sept. 1, 2026, following renewal agreements, we made updates to network codes, alpha prefixes and group numbers for the TRS-ActiveCare 2026-27 plan year.

Also effective Sept. 1, 2026, TRS-ActiveCare plans have been updated with new tiered benefit designs and participant cost sharing, which may vary based on their selected primary care physician, specialist or facility. You will need this updated information to identify and process claims for TRS participants. Learn more here.

You should check patient eligibility and benefits using Availity^® Essentials or your preferred vendor before every scheduled appointment. Eligibility and benefit quotes include patients’ coverage statuses and other important information, such as applicable copays, coinsurance and deductibles. If services are not covered, you should notify patients that they may be billed directly.
