New ID cards for Blue Balance Funded^SM (BBF) members

What to know
We’re updating our BBF ID cards to remove the designation for the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI). We’re removing this label since the TDI designation doesn’t apply to BBF plans.
 
What’s changing?
We’re removing the TDI designation from the card. There are no other changes to the ID cards, all plan information remains the same; this is a formatting update only.
 
When are cards being reissued?
We expect to reissue cards later this month.
 
How will members receive their updated cards?
We are printing updated ID cards and will be mailing them to members. Updated cards will also be available digitally on Blue Access for Members^SM.
