Reminder
Effective for dates of service on or after February 1, 2022, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) evaluation and treatment services are available through the Texas Health Steps-Comprehensive Care Program (THSteps-CCP) for Texas Medicaid members who are 20 years of age and younger and meet the criteria outlined in the Medicaid Autism Services policy.
For a quick snapshot of ABA services for our members, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) created a flyer Medicaid (ABA) Services for Children and Youth with Autism in both English and Spanish to help educate our providers and members.
