Texas Strong: Community Partners Come Together to Support Central Texas Relief Efforts
July 16, 2025
Disaster relief and recovery efforts continue after catastrophic floods in Central Texas have claimed the lives of more than 130 people. Rescue teams continue to search for more than 160 people.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas grieves with countless Texans affected and is dedicated to supporting our employees, members and communities. BCBSTX is working with organizations statewide, including the Community Foundation’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.
The Flood Relief Fund will support people and families in need, businesses, first responders and crisis response efforts. In one week, Texans donated more than $30 million. The first $5 million in grants is being distributed to nonprofits across the Texas Hill Country. You can help by contributing.
BCBSTX is proud to work with grantees of its Blue Impact℠ program and community partners that are offering support and services.
