Urgent Request for All Medicaid Recipients to Update Their Contact Information Before 3/31/2023

On March 31, 2023, as the federal government ends the continuous Medicaid coverage requirements, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is notifying Medicaid members to make sure their contact information is correct at YourTexasBenefits.com.

Additionally, notices will be sent encouraging members to:

  • Look for renewal packets or request for information in the mail in the weeks ahead
  • Sign up and log into YourTexasBenefit.com, to verify all information is up to date and if any changes are required such as, address, phone number, pregnancy, or household member changes.

Last year HHSC created an Ambassador Program to support recipients and prepare for the end of the continuous Medicaid coverage requirement.  Learn more by visiting the FAQ section of HHSC webpage.

Also, members may respond by mail, fax, calling 2-1-1 and selecting option 2, or visiting a local office or a community partner.
