Quality Improvement (QI) Toolkits & Tip Sheets

We collect quality data from providers to measure and improve the care our members receive. Our Quality Improvement (QI) Toolkits and Tip Sheets can help you satisfy quality measures. These include Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) measures from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and National Quality Forum (NQF) measures. In Texas, the Texas Health and Human Service Commission (HHSC) administers Texas Health Steps (THSteps) under funding from Title XIX of the Social Security Act for early and periodic screening, diagnosis and treatment services.  THSteps focuses on the medical, dental, and case management services for ages birth through 20.

Complying with these measures may reduce the need for you to provide medical records later for review.
