ARPA HCBS Provider Retention Payments Updates

10/05/2023

Updates

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) initially expended the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Provider Retention Payments attestation and initial reporting to 90- days after the federally declared public health emergency expired.

HHSC is currently evaluating the compliance of ARPA HCBS attestation and reporting requirements and will decide if an additional extension is required.  HHSC is not processing recoupments due to non-compliance, at this time.
