EVV: HHAeXchange Users Must Register and Complete System User Training

Notice:

To remain compliant with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements, program providers and financial management services agencies (FMSAs) transitioning to HHAeXchange or who have recently enrolled to provide personal care services (PCS), must complete onboarding and system user training before Oct. 1, 2023.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) Medicaid encourages our Long-Term Services and Support (LTSS) Providers to attend the System User Training sessions for program providers, financial management services agencies (FMSAs), Consumer Directed Services (CDS) and employers and CDS employees, hosted by HHAeXchange.

Training for Program Providers and FMSAs held through Zoom, and you must register for both sessions:                                                                Register for System User Training Webinar

Day 1 session will cover Member Management, Visit Management and EVV.  Day 2 sessions will cover Billing and Administration.

  • Perform EVV System operations.
  • Complete visit maintenance in the EVV vendor system.
  • Conduct visit or claim searches.
  • Generate reports.
  • Submit Medicaid claims (billing) for an EVV – required service.

Training for CDS Employers and Employee held through Sept. 29,2023:  Register for in person sessions in English or Spanish.  You can also attend webinar sessions.

  • Complete visit maintenance in the EVV vendor System.
  • Clock in or out of the EVV System.

Note: If an EVV user is unable to attend a webinar, they can take the training through the HHAX learning management system (LMS).
