Notice:
On June 1, 2023, Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) notified changes to the quantity limits on direct-acting antiviral (DAA) drugs for treating Hepatitis C.
We are asking our providers to help educate our members regarding the available diagnosis and treatment opportunities. HHSC has additional resources to spread awareness among our Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) Medicaid members and providers of the treatment opportunity of Hepatitis C in Texas Medicaid.
