Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas President Named 2024 Board Chair-Elect at Dallas Regional Chamber

Jim Springfield to serve alongside Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall

RICHARDSON, Texas — Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas President Jim Springfield has been named 2024 Board Chair-Elect at the Dallas Regional Chamber alongside DRC Board Chair and Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall.

Springfield will serve a year in the position before becoming Board Chair in 2025. As Texas’ largest provider of health benefits, his role aligns with BCBSTX’s dedication to contribute to the well-being of members by supporting access to care and being actively involved through community investments.

“At Blue Cross, we share the Dallas Regional Chamber’s vision for a strong economy, developing the future workforce and creating a wonderful quality of life for the North Texas region,” Springfield said. “I look forward to participating in the important and necessary work the chamber is doing daily to drive economic growth and foster collaboration between the business community, educational institutions and workforce development organizations in order to move this region forward.”
