Negotiation with Memorial Hermann
We’re negotiating new contracts with Houston-based Memorial Hermann. We’re working closely with Memorial Hermann and hope to sign new contracts before they expire on April 1, 2026.
You are our priority. We want to reach an agreement that will continue to give you access to Memorial Hermann doctors and hospitals at fair prices.
Even if Memorial Hermann leaves our networks, you’ll continue to have access to our robust network of doctors, health care professionals, hospitals and facilities. Check for options based on your plan by logging in to your member account online or through the BCBSTX App. You can also call the number on your member ID card.
Memorial Hermann left our Medicare Advantage networks as of Jan. 1, 2026.
Why It Matters
If we can’t reach an agreement, Memorial Hermann doctors, hospitals and other facilities will no longer be in these provider networks as of April 1:

- Blue Advantage HMOSM
- Blue PremierSM
- BlueHPN®

In the case of a life-threatening illness or injury, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency facility right away. Emergency services for commercial networks are covered at the in-network benefit level.
