Through determined efforts on both sides, we’ve reached an agreement with Houston-based Memorial Hermann.
We’re pleased to let you know that Memorial Hermann hospitals, facilities, doctors and other health care professionals are rejoining our networks. The agreement is retroactive to April 1, 2026.
You are our priority. The agreement we reached gives you access to Memorial Hermann doctors and hospitals while paying fair prices to Memorial Hermann.
Why It Matters
Memorial Hermann doctors, hospitals and other facilities are participating in these provider networks:
- Blue Choice PPOSM
- Blue EssentialsSM
- Blue Advantage HMOSM
- Blue PremierSM
- BlueHPN®
Medicare: As part of the agreement, Memorial Hermann is rejoining Blue Cross Medicare Advantage (PPO)SM and Blue Cross Medicare Advantage (HMO)SM, effective May 1, 2026.
MyBlue HealthSM: Memorial Hermann will join MyBlue HealthSM as of June 1, 2026.

Next Steps
The new agreement is retroactive to April 1, 2026.
Any commercial claims processed as out-of-network on or after April 1 will be reprocessed as in-network. You don’t need to take any action. Please be patient as this may take several weeks.
