Negotiation with Covenant Health
Covenant Health notified us that they are terminating their physician group and hospital agreements on Aug. 1, 2025, unless those agreements are modified. We’re working closely with Covenant Health and hope to sign new contracts before that date. Our goal is to reach agreements that protect our members’ and customers’ access to quality care at affordable rates.
Even if Covenant leaves our networks, you’ll continue to have access to our robust network of doctors, health care professionals, hospitals and facilities throughout West Texas. Check for options based on your plan by logging in to Blue Access for Members℠. If you don’t have access to BAM℠, go to the website on the back of your member ID card. You can also call the customer service number on your member ID card.

If we can’t reach an agreement, Covenant Health physician groups, hospitals and other facilities will no longer be in these provider networks as of Aug. 1:

- Register for or log in to BAM or the website on the back of your member ID card
- Call the number on your member ID card
In the case of a life-threatening illness or injury, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency facility right away. Emergency services for commercial networks are covered at the in-network benefit level.
