Agreement Reached With Unified Women’s Healthcare Texas

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) and Unified Women’s Healthcare Texas have reached an agreement on a new multi-year contract centered around a commitment to increased access to women’s healthcare across Texas.

“We value our relationship with Unified Women’s Healthcare Texas and are pleased we reached reasonable terms for it to remain in our networks,” said Shara McClure, senior vice president of Texas health care delivery for BCBSTX. “The rates we negotiate with providers impact the amount our customers pay. Health care is a major cost for many people, and we owe it to our members to try to keep health care affordable.”
