Negotiation with Hendrick Health
We’re in active negotiations with Hendrick Health in Abilene. The current contracts were set to expire on Feb. 29, 2024, but we’ve extended our contracts through May 31, 2024, to work on reaching a new agreement.
You are our priority. We’re committed to working hard toward an agreement that will continue to give you access to Hendrick Health doctors and hospitals at a fair price.
Why It Matters
If we don’t sign new contracts, Hendrick Health doctors, hospitals and home health services will leave these networks after May 31, 2024:
- Blue Choice PPOSM
- Blue EssentialsSM
- Blue Advantage HMOSM
Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood
This negotiation does not include Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood.
Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood is in our Blue Choice PPO, Blue Essentials, Blue Advantage HMO and ParPlan networks.
