Important Message About Surgery Center-Based Physicians

Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) admission may include services rendered by an anesthesiologist, radiologist, or pathologist. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas makes every effort to contract with ASC-based providers that routinely provide services at your network facilities.

The information provided is being made available to assist you in deciding which facility has contracted ASC based providers to minimize any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur. Your out-of-pocket expenses will be greater if you use anesthesiologists, pathologists, and/or radiologists that do not participate in your network.

To confirm the ASC, including anesthesiologists, pathologists, and radiologists that participate in your network, select one of the ASC lists below.

TRS-ActiveCare HD and TRS-ActiveCare 2

TRS-ActiveCare Primary+ and TRS-ActiveCare Primary

Note: Network provider agreements do not guarantee a network provider will be available at the time of each patient's service. Emergency medicine provider agreements generally apply to the attending provider only and do not always apply to the specialty care provider consultations provided during emergency room visits. In addition, provider network participation is subject to change.
