Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) adopted by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) are the foundation for the Behavioral Health Condition Management Programs. Updates to CPGs are reviewed and adopted periodically.

The Behavioral Health Condition Management Programs offered by BCBSTX include Depression, Alcohol/Substance Abuse Disorders, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Eating Disorders, Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders. Condition Management Programs are offered to PPO Fully Insured members and PPO members whose employer group has purchased the programs. If a professional provider has a patient who may benefit from participating in one of the above mentioned programs, please call Behavioral Member Services at 800-528-7264 to have your patient screened and considered for enrollment in a Condition Management Program.
