Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) is processing annual benefit changes for 2013. Due to the large number of policy changes underway, BCBSTX may receive an influx of calls resulting in extended hold times. If you are checking eligibility or benefit transactions online during this time, you may instead be directed to BCBSTX Provider Customer Service. At this time, please defer general eligibility and benefit calls for patients who are not immediately scheduled for an appointment. If your patient is in need of immediate service, please contact the appropriate provider customer service number.
