Richardson, TX — Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) today announced that Dr. Dan McCoy has been named President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), effective July 1, 2016. Dr. McCoy succeeds Bert Marshall who will retire after 20 years with the company, during which he also served as president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma prior to his current role. Dr. McCoy will report to Colleen Reitan, executive vice president of plan operations, HCSC.
