Fee Schedule Update – Immunizations

Following the American Academy of Pediatrics' recommendation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) is pleased to announce that it will begin incorporating the Private Sector Cost/Dose, as published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as the basis for establishing the allowable amounts for immunizations effective June 1, 2011.  The allowable amount information for BlueChoice^® and HMO Blue^® Texas will be posted under Standards and Requirements / General Reimbursement Information / Reimbursement Schedules and Related Information / Professional Schedules section on the BCBSTX provider website at bcbstx.com/provider.
