Effective on or after February 6, 2007, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) Medical Care Management Department will be changing the clinical review criteria used in the preauthorization process from OPTIMED^® clinical protocols to Milliman Care Guidelines^®.
