By looking at the patient’s ID card. An example of the ID card can be located on the BCBSTX Web site. Additional examples of ID cards will be provided in upcoming Blue Review newsletters and is included in the BlueChoice Provider Manual.

Is BlueChoice Solutions a PPO or HMO network? |

The BlueChoice Solutions network will support existing PPO/POS products and PPO/POS option products.

All current BlueChoice hospitals participate in the BlueChoice Solutions network. Please note that not all ancillary providers that are participating in the BlueChoice network participate in the BlueChoice Solutions network. To locate a participating ancillary provider in the BlueChoice Solutions network, please refer to the online BlueChoice Solutions Provider Directory by clicking on Provider Finder on the header menu bar above.
