Blue Access for ProducersSM - Transition of Medicare Supplement to Hallmark effective 04/01/12
Effective April 1, 2012, the Under-65 and Medicare Supplement business will both be managed through Hallmark. Therefore, the Medicare Supplement Application in Blue Access for Producers (BAP) will transition to Hallmark's new Medicare Supplement application system. Applications already started but were not submitted in the current system must be submitted by March 31, 2012 in order for the applications to be processed properly.
When producers select the Medicare Supplement link on BAP, they will be directed to Hallmark. Once authenticated*, Producers can submit and manage all of their Medicare Supplement business.
The following tools will be available through Hallmark:
- ExpressLink**, which provides your contact information to applicants applying online, will be available for all lines of business
- eQuestions, an online help tool, will be available for all lines of business
Training on the new Hallmark Medicare Supplement application will available in the News and Updates section in the Hallmark portal.

*Hallmark requires pre-registration. If you have not already registered your producer ID with Hallmark, you maybe asked to do so in order to link your account.
**ExpressLink users: You will need to update your existing ExpressLink URL so your clients can be directed to the new Medicare Supplement quote application. As of April 1, the old ExpressLink URL's will not be accepted.
