your health and health care expenses to see how BlueEdge fits your
budget.

With Blue
Access for Members, you can review the status of your Health Care
Account (including current balance, payments made to date and year-to-year
rollover amounts), check the status of a claim, view the explanation
of medical benefits, confirm who is covered under your plan and request
a replacement ID card. You can also receive an e-mail when Blue Cross
and Blue Shield of Texas finalizes your claims and send an inquiry
via e-mail to customer service through our secure server. |

The Personal Health Manager is a resource of online tools and information to help you make informed health care decisions.
Log in to Blue Access for Members and click on the Personal Health Manager icon to take the health risk assessment, set up
a personal health record, access online health content such as videos and interactive tutorials, receive targeted wellness
information and set up reminders about medical appointments and screenings.

lets you quickly compare hospitals, based on specific diagnoses and
procedures. You can search and compare hospital performance factors
such as length-of-stay, the number of procedures performed and complication
rates. |

The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Provider Finder lets you search by Name, Healthplan network or Provider Type, and print a list of providers matching your specific needs. The customized Provider Finder information is updated daily. You’ll also find useful information, such as:
- The doctor’s, hospital’s or other health care provider’s phone number, address and a map to the location
- The practice limitations, languages spoken, gender, affiliations and whether or not new patients are accepted

Within one month of enrollment, expect a call from a BlueEdge expert
to help you better understand BlueEdge and how to maximize the benefits
of BlueEdge. The welcome call provides a convenient opportunity
to get answers to questions you may have about your healthplan.
