Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

Does your child need health insurance? Uninsured children may be able to get CHIP. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) designed CHIP to help eligible people with paying for commercial health insurance. At this time the State pays a part of the monthly payment for children who qualify.
