What's new for Plan Year 2011?
What you pay for some benefits will change on September 1, 2010:
- $25 copay for PCP office visit and Retail Health Clinics;
- $40 copay for specialist office visit;
- $150 copay per day for inpatient hospital care;
- $2,000 out-of-pocket coinsurance maximum for network benefits; $7,000 for non-network; $3,000 for out-of-area;
- New way to save money with Urgent Care Clinic/Center benefit ($50 copay). Refer to "Knowing Your Options" flyer for more information;
- $150 copay for Emergency Room visit;
- $100 copay for high-tech radiology services (CT scan, MRI, and nuclear medicine); and
- Limited annual visits and lower benefit maximum for chiropractic care.
If you are an in-area participant (living in Texas), you will receive a new HealthSelect medical ID card and Caremark prescription drug card by mail around September 1, 2010. Make sure your PCP's name is on the card. If it is not, select your PCP as soon as possible and notify BCBSTX.
