You can search for BlueChoice providers through BCBSTX's online provider directory, Provider Finder®, which is updated daily - giving you the most up-to-date information. Provider Finder allows you to search by name, location or specialty - the choice is yours.
BlueCompare - How Does Your Physician Compare?
While conducting searches through Provider Finder you will see ribbons and scales which represent how a physician or professional provider compares to his or her peers. The ribbon provides you details on performance. Read more about BlueCompare.
If you are using network benefits use the HealthSelect Provider Finder.
If using non-network benefits, use the ParPlan Provider Finder. HealthSelect gives you the freedom to go outside the network and still have coverage at a lower level; (non-network). By using ParPlan providers, you are not required to file your claims and the provider cannot charge you amounts above the BCBSTX allowable amount.
