With Blue Access for Members and the Personal Health Manager you have access to online resources and tools to help you set goals and improve your health.
Effective March 1, 2008, earn 5,000 Blue Points for taking the Health Risk Assessment*! You and your covered dependents can earn 5,000 annually for taking the Health Risk Assessment.
Get involved and take a Health Risk Assessment…it is easy to understand and takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. You can also complete the assessment several times throughout the year to track your progress.
Once you have completed the assessment, you will receive an individualized report that will provide you with guidance and suggestions on the next steps to improving your health.
Please be assured your information is kept confidential and will not be released to your employer or outside entities without your authorization.
*Currently, the points earned for completing the Health Risk Assessment will be added to your Blue Points total about 30 to 45 days after you complete the Health Risk Assessment.
Until this process is automated, for those who have never earned Blue Points or used the Personal Health Manager, you must first create a record in order to accrue the 5,000 points for completing the Health Risk Assessment. To do this, click on one of the programs found in the “For Your Health” section like “Get Fit” or “Eat Right”. You will be prompted to answer a few questions and then you can begin logging fitness or meal plans.
In the near future, this process will be automated and your Blue Points account will be updated immediately with the additional points after completing the Health Risk Assessment. Also, for those who have never earned Blue Points, the automation will no longer require that you create a record before you can earn 5,000 points for completing the Health Risk Assessment.

Log in to Blue Access for Members and click on the Personal Health Manager logo found on the home page of Blue Access for Members or under the My Health tab.
- Once in the Personal Health Manager, you'll see a section called "Know Your Risk" located in the top right hand corner of the screen. Within this section click on the link to complete a Health Risk Assessment.
- Have your subscriber number and group number ready - you can find this on your HealthSelect ID Card.
- Log in to Blue Access for Members.
- Create a user name and password for immediate, secure access to your personal information.
