Wellness Tools

As a HealthSelect participant, registered with Blue Access for Members, you have access to the Personal Health Manager, an online resource and information tool that helps you manage the health of you and your family.  The Personal Health Manager can be found under "My Health" in Blue Access for Members.

The Personal Health Manager gives you the capability to:

• Set up a personal health record to keep track of and manage your family’s health – within one secure location. 
• Ask questions through Ask a Nurse, Ask a Trainer, Ask a Dietician and Ask a Life Coach and receive responses from experts.
• Access online content such as health and medication information, wellness tracking tools, videos and interactive tutorials.
• Receive wellness and condition-specific information via secured messaging to help you manage your health.  Receive alerts for screening tests and set up reminders for medical appointments and medication refills.
• Complete the Health Risk Assessment, research symptoms, investigate treatment options or prescription drugs and their side effects, learn about nutritious meal planning and more.
• Earn Rewards! - On January 1, 2007, you began earning points each time you tracked a fitness workout, reported a meal, asked an nurse a health-related question, or used other parts of the "For Your Health" section of the Personal Health Manager.  Beginning April 23, 2007, you can redeem your Blue Points for rewards!

1. Have your subscriber number and group number ready - you can find this on your HealthSelect ID Card.
2. Log in to Blue Access for Members.
3. Create a user name and password for immediate, secure access to your personal information.
