Effective March 1, 2008 earn 5,000 Blue Points for taking the Health Risk Assessment! You and your covered dependents can earn 5,000 annually for taking the Health Risk Assessment.
Currently, the points earned for completing the Health Risk Assessment will be added to your Blue Points total about 30 to 45 days after you complete the Health Risk Assessment.
Until this process is automated, for those who have never earned Blue Points or used the Personal Health Manager, you must first create a record in order to accrue the 5,000 points for completing the Health Risk Assessment. To do this, click on one of the programs found in the “For Your Health” section like “Get Fit” or “Eat Right”. You will be prompted to answer a few questions and then you can begin logging fitness or meal plans.
In the near future, this process will be automated and your Blue Points account will be updated immediately with the additional points after completing the Health Risk Assessment. Also, for those who have never earned Blue Points, the automation will no longer require that you create a record before you can earn 5,000 points for completing the Health Risk Assessment.

As you know, the Personal Health Manager is the online resource that connects you to information, resources and online tools to help you manage you and your family's health. When you log activity in the Personal Health Manager, you can earn Blue Points which can be redeemed for rewards.
Earn Blue Points each time you track a fitness workout, reported a meal, asked an nurse a health-related question, participate in a tobacco cessation or weight-loss program or take a Health Risk Assessment in the Personal Health Manager.

How do you check or redeem your Blue Points?
- Login to Blue Access for Members and click on the Personal Health Manager logo
- Access any of the "For Your Health" links on the Personal Health Manager home page
- Click on the Blue Points tab to view your points totals
- Choose the point/redemption levels to select your reward!
