HealthSelect of Texas is the State of Texas' self-funded insurance plan administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) and is a benefit option to all eligible participants of the Group Benefits Program.
There will be no benefit changes on September 1, 2008!
This means there will be no increases in the amounts you pay when you receive medical care.
ID Cards - All current and new HealthSelect participants will receive two new ID cards around September 1, 2008.
Retail Health Clinics will now be covered with a $20 copayment without a referral from your PCP at contracting providers.
Your new Prescription Benefits manager will be Caremark.
