With BestChoice® Managed Care, members have access to comprehensive health care through one of the largest provider networks in the state, BlueChoice®. BestChoice Managed Care is a Preferred Provider Health Insurance Plan (PPO) program. Members should seek care from BlueChoice network providers to receive the highest level of benefits. Or, they may choose to seek care from a non-network provider or a ParPlan provider and receive a reduced level of benefits.

Choose from several BestChoice Managed Care programs which offer a variety of benefits, copayments and deductibles. All programs offer:

• Comprehensive benefits, including inpatient/outpatient hospital coverage, extended care, preventive care and prescription drug coverage
• Freedom to choose network or non-network providers for care
• Set copayments for covered care through the BlueChoice network
• Access to ParPlan providers and contracting facilities
• Usually no claims filing for covered services through the BlueChoice network or ParPlan program
• Optional maternity benefits for groups with less than 15 employees (mandated by law for employers with 15 or more full-time or part-time employees)
