Special Customer Service for BCBSTX Members Impacted by Texas Wildfires

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) is prepared to assist Blue Cross members affected by the Texas wildfires.

Customer Advocates are readily available to assist members who need help finding care, have coverage questions or need replacement ID cards. If you have misplaced your ID card or lost it due to the disaster, you can call BCBSTX customer service at 800-521-2227 to retrieve the information, or log into your Blue Access for Members^SM (BAM) account. When seeking care, you will be asked by doctors and providers for your member ID number.

If you participate in the BlueCard^® national program, you can call BlueCard Access at 800-810-BLUE (2583) to locate a network doctor or hospital.

For an emergency situation, call 911 or go directly to the nearest hospital.
