Special Customer Service for BCBSTX Members Impacted by Hurricane Earl ALERT

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas is prepared to assist members affected by Hurricane Earl.

Customer Service representatives are ready to assist members who need help finding care, have coverage questions or need replacement ID cards.

When seeking care, you will be asked by providers for your ID number. If you have misplaced your ID card or lost it due to the disaster, you may call BCBSTX customer service at (800) 521-2227 to retrieve the information, or log into Blue Access for Members (BAM).

If you participate in the BlueCard® national program, you can call BlueCard Access at 800-810-BLUE (2583) to locate a network provider.

For an emergency situation, go directly to the nearest hospital.
