Sales and Account Management focuses on selling products and services to; employer groups, from small two-person organizations to Fortune 100 companies, and then managing those customer relationships. In Consumer Markets Sales, the purchasers are individuals buying insurance coverage for themselves and/or their families. In both consumer and group markets, sales can be made directly to individuals/companies, or through consultants, brokers, or general agents. Types of positions in Sales and Account Management include Account Executive, Sales Executive, Account Support Analyst, Individual Sales Representative, and Proposal Writer.
